Arch Enemy: Vídeo com a nova vocalista
Para apresentar a nova vocalista Alissa White-Gluz (ex The Agonist), a banda Arch Enemy lançou um vídeo da música War eternal que estará no novo álbum de mesmo nome.

Brasil é o País do Metal segundo Folha de S. Paulo
O site do jornal Folha de São Paulo, em matéria de Thales de Menezes, divulgou dados mostrando que o Brasil é o país do metal.
Está afirmação tem como base uma pesquisa feita pela Folha, analisando os últimos 20 anos.
De acordo com o site bandas como, Megadeth, Metallica e Iron Maiden, por exemplo, já estiveram no Brasil em mais turnês que artistas considerados Pop, como, Madonna, Britney Spears e U2.
Enquanto a banda de Dave Mustaine esteve no Brasil em 12 oportunidades, as apresentações de Madonna foram 3 e os irlandeses do U2 vieram ao Brasil em apenas 4 turnês.
A matéria também leva em conta o fato de ter ocorrido um aumento significativo no número de bandas de metal presentes no Rock in Rio.

Eu Apoio o Metal Nacional
Esse mês irei retornar com a série "Eu apoio o metal nacional", onde irei apresentar a cada mês uma banda da cena underground brasileira, de todas as regiões do país.
Nesse mês de março irei apresentar a banda paulistana Tropa de Shock, que está completando 25 anos de estrada nesse ano de 2014, e vem divulgando seu oitavo trabalho de estúdio - Immortal Rage.
A banda conquistou grande destaque na cena ao longo de seus 25 anos tendo tocado ao lado de grandes nomes do metal mundial como Paul Di'anno, D.C. Cooper, Pink Cream 69, Primal Fear, Overkill. Além de ter contado com participação de artistas renomados em seus discos, tais como, Rafael Bittencourt (Angra) em Survivors (2004), Edu Ardanuy (Dr. Sin) e Michael Weikath (Helloween) ambos no disco After Twilight (2007).
O Tropa de Shock controu com diversas formações ao longo dos anos, tendo contado com grandes músicos como Felipe Negri (baixo), Paulo Punk (baixo), De Grigo (guitarra), Bruno Gomes (guitarra), Valéria Moregola (teclado). Atualmente a banda conta com os dois membros fundadores Don (voz), Márcio Minetto (bateria), Augusto Abade (guitarra), Felipe Rigby (baixo) e o novato Lucas Pelarin (guitarra).
